Safe House
Give the Gift of a Safe House
When persecuted Christians refuse to deny their faith, they risk violence, abuse, and community attack. Often, their homes are targeted, resulting in the loss of everything they own, as well as their displacement.
When home is no longer safe, your gift provides these believers with shelter, security, and reprieve from violence and abuse.
Samson lives in Myanmar. He comes from a Buddhist background but accepted Jesus when a pastor shared the life-giving gospel with him. When his family refused to deny their new faith, their community attacked their home. They stoned them and tried to burn the house down while they were still inside. Thankfully, Samson and his family escaped without harm. He is now with an Open Doors’ local partner in a safe house.
“I would like to say thank you, and I'm praying for you. Because you helped me, the glory of God is manifested. Please pray for our family, that we will stand in faith and that we will glorify His name day to day." Samson, Myanmar
